Summer Reading Programs

Every year between June and September, you can take part in one of our summer reading programs!  We’ve got ’em for adults, teens and children.

We make use of Beanstack to manage our Summer Reading, as well as several other, programs.  You can access it at clapplibrary.beanstack.com or through their app.  Beanstack lists programs as “Challenges” and automatically displays only those that the selected reader account can enroll in.  If Beanstack only displays the Challenge you are enrolled in and you wish to see others, click on the green “Challenges” button to return to the full list.

2023 Summer Adult Reading Program

The Summer Reading Challenge is a fun way to stretch your reading habits by selecting books from different genres. The program begins on June 20th and runs through August 19th.

Adults can register and participate online through beanstack.  If you cannot take part online, you can call the circulation desk at 413-323-0417 or email us at clapp@cwmars.org.

The goal is to read one title from each of the 10 genres listed on the challenge – books may be in any format, and you are welcome to complete as many or as few challenges as they wish.  After completing a challenge (one book per challenge, max 10 tickets), raffle tickets are awarded in beanstack and can be assigned to the drawings of your choice.  It’s fun and the prizes are great.  Happy Reading!
