Reviews
and logging your reading time
As you read or are read to,
you will need to keep track of your time both on the paper reading log (with
leaves) and on your Activity Center page online.
When you enter your time online, please leave everything blank except the hours
and date. You do not enter a title or author. When you do it sends Jennifer
Whitehead an empty review and it takes a long time for her to delete them all.
When you are ready to enter your book review please take some time to think
about it and include:
If you liked the book or not.
What about the book made you like it or not like it.
Dangle a carrot – tell a little about the book so that someone else might be
interested in reading it BUT do not give away too much information.
Your review should be at least a few sentences. Young children can have an adult
type their thoughts for them.
Remember, this is NOT a book report. It is a review for others to read to decide
if they might like to read the book.
Only one book review is required.
