do Friends do? |

- The Friends help support and promote the growth
and development of the Clapp Memorial Library.
- The Friends raise funds for books & materials.
- The Friends plan and staff the Friends books
sales.
- The Friends sell items of related interest to
Library patrons, including two different sized "logo-item"
tote bags. All proceeds benefit the Library.
- The Friends sponsor special library programs such
as author events, lectures and book signings.
- The Friends sponsor children's events to
encourage a positive association with learning and the library, including
our ongoing assistance with the summer reading program.
- The Friends lobby public officials on behalf of
the library.
- The Friends participate in the Belchertown Fair -
in the Parade and the "Friends" Booth!
