Summer Reading Program for children age 12 years and younger at the Clapp Memorial Library, 323-0417, ext. 2.

Register at www.clapplibrary.org for our free program. This is a reading and read-to-me program, so no child is too young. There are weekly prizes and special events such as our Roller Skating party, Lego club and ice cream party. All children who complete the program receive their own free book.

The fun begins on June 24th with a Flea Circus at the Old Town Hall at 10:00 AM. Following the show there will be fun activities, games and crafts at the Library until 1:00 PM. Everything is free and open to everyone. These events will happen rain or shine.

Read to Feed Horses in Need

This summer the Clapp Memorial Library will be working in collaboration with Blue Star Equiculture in Palmer to provide fun and educational programs involving reading and responsibility. Every hour that a child reads or is read to will help feed the rescued horses. We will have a grand celebration at the farm with hayrides, a picnic and fun activities; including reading to the horses.
