Thomson Gale™ provides access to over 25 million online articles in magazines, reference books and newspapers, as well as complete biographical and bibliographical information and references for approximately 100,000 U.S. and international authors.

After you log in with you Clapp Memorial Library Smartest Card (your library card) click on:  Select General OneFile
                                                                                                                                                          General OneFile .     

You will be brought to the general search screen.  To change databases, click on:  CHANGE DATABASES (located in the top banner).  You will then have

access to all the Gale Group Databases available to Clapp Memorial Library Patrons.

Digital Treasures

C/W MARS is proud to present Digital Treasures, a digital library repository focused on the agricultural and industrial cultural history of Central and Western Massachusetts. This project was developed in cooperation with the Central and Western Massachusetts Regional Library Systems.

 

 Provided by Clapp Memorial Library, Reference USA is available on our ITN (Information technologies network) and  remotely (with your Clapp Memorial Library library card) and contains:

 US Business
This database of over 14 million businesses allows you to search with 27 unique data elements to help you find exactly what you are looking for fast. A detailed business listing contains everything on a business – from a list of executives, financial information to public filings and news articles. You can also create reports based on the businesses you are researching.

US Residential
This database includes 120 million households and 65 million homeowners. We gather information from over 5,200 phone directories across the U.S. Each listing appears exactly as it appears in the phone book. Two unique demographics – median households income and median home value – allow you to search and display those data elements for each listing.
