How it all works!
Register online @ http://iread.evanced.info/clapp/sr/homepage.asp - if you don't have internet access - The Library does! Don't have email? Please use the library's - clapp@cwmars.org - email is important as you will receive periodic updates and special announcements from Jennifer Whitehead, as well as getting notified if you win a prize! Once you register...
It’s simple. You read anywhere, anytime, anything and anyway you wish and every time you read or are read to for an hour just fill in a star on the reading log (create your own way to fill in the stars; color in half for half an hour, the points and then the middle for each ten minutes, whatever works for you). Your goal is to complete an hour for a coupon and a raffle ticket for prizes and at least 8 stars by August 6th. Remember the more you read, the more coupons and raffle tickets you will receive and of course the smarter you’ll be, the more fun you’ll have and the better prepared you’ll be for school!

Statewide Summer Reading Program
Must be completed by Thursday, August 6th!
To complete the requirements for the summer reading program simply:
*1. Read/be read to at least a total of 8 hours by August 6th.
*2. Complete a simple book review about ONE of the books you read or heard online or at the library by August 6th. Younger can children can tell one to an adult who can type it for them.
The FUN stuff: Beginning JUNE 29th
FOR EVERY HOUR OF READING/BEING READ TO
1. Pick out a coupon from the notebook.
2. Pick out a game sheet.
3. Receive a raffle ticket.
* You are now officially invited to our GRAND CELEBRATION!

PERFORMANCE: The Yoyo People
Followed by a “make your own ice cream sundae” and a free book for all the children who completed the program! (If you complete the program and do not make the party, please pick up your book afterwards at the library).
