Writing a book review : Due by August 11th

Short summary of the book;

Write a few sentences that let the reader know about the storyline without giving away any of the ending.

Try to lead the reader into an exciting part of the story so they will be

curious enough to want to read it themselves.

Explain whether you enjoyed the book or not and why;

Think about why you liked or didn’t like the story. Maybe you felt like you really knew the

characters? Maybe it seemed too long? Too predictable? Explain what type of reader you

think would most enjoy it. Is it a good family story? Is it for sports fans? Animal lovers?

If you enjoyed the story then sell it to your readers;

Write something that makes the reader feel like they have to read it themselves!
